Little Smokie Pretzel Bites with Honey Mustard, Cheddar and Apple Jelly

These little wingdings bring a bit of seasonal appetizer whimsy to the party -- little smokies are nestled in a miniature pretzel bun with honey mustard, topped with sharp cheddar a dollop of apple jelly
3tablespoonhoney mustardrecipe follows, or used prepared
2oz.sliced sharp English cheddarcut in 1” squares
3Tbsp.prepared apple jelly
Instructions
Preheat oven to 275°F
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the little smokies for 4 minutes.
Split pretzel bites just to the seam, keeping attached. Spread honey mustard on the insides of the split pretzel bites.
Tuck a little smokie inside each pretzel bite and place in an oven-proof baking dish. Top each with a slice of cheddar cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Top each with a dollop of apple jelly and serve.
Honey Mustard
2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. honey
1 tsp. white wine vinegar
Dash of hot sauce
Whisk all ingredients together in a small bowl. Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
